From the point of view of a user (as opposed to an investor), Yahoo! appears to be approaching a state of collapse. The company has lots of customers, but appears to provide no customer service at all to even many of its paying customers.
The huge yahoo.com web site talks about "customer service" and "customer care" all over the place. The implication is that a customer can get customer service. Nothing could be further from the truth. Customer requests for aid are usually completely ignored. In most cases, nobody evidently even reads them. They're thrown away unread. If you submit a question or complaint, you'll likely get no reply whatsoever, or you'll get a boilerplate e-mail reply which is no help whatsoever.
And this is true of paying customers as well as non-paying customers!
If you've come to this web site, it's probably because you've been screwed by Yahoo's lack of customer service. Join the club!
